Lifestyle and Travel › Shanghai Disneyland 2025 Review EP.3: A Full Day of Fun with Tron, Zootopia & the Grand Disney Parade
It’s the day everyone’s been waiting for — our Shanghai Disneyland adventure! We woke up at 5:00 AM to get ready for an exciting day ahead.

We booked a Didi ride from our hotel to Disneyland. The trip took about 50 minutes, and we arrived around 7:30 AM. There were already lots of people! If you want to enter early, buy the Early Pass (not the Early Bird like us 😅). The Early Bird enters with everyone else, but the Early Pass really lets you in first!

After passing the security check, we immediately queued up for our first ride — the thrilling Tron Lightcycle Power Run, a futuristic roller coaster! We waited about 30 minutes and finished around 9:45 AM.

Next, we enjoyed Buzz Lightyear Planet Rescue — a fun shooting game with laser guns! A relaxing and cheerful ride after the intense coaster.

Late in the morning, we walked around Snow White’s Castle and queued for the lovely Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. The wait took about one hour, but the atmosphere and ride were cozy and perfect for all ages.

In the afternoon, we headed to the park’s newest zone — Zootopia! We waited for about 25 minutes and got on the ride at 1:45 PM. It was amazing — felt just like stepping into Nick and Judy’s world!

Unfortunately, heavy rain hit in the afternoon, and many rides were paused. We spent the time walking around, shopping for souvenirs, and having snacks. Since the rain wouldn’t stop, we bought two umbrellas and walked to the other side of the map to enjoy some delicious Yakiniku with spicy mala chili powder — so good!
When the rain stopped, we hurried to queue for Soaring Over the Horizon, a breathtaking simulation ride that takes you on a 360° journey across the world — it truly felt like flying!

The evening highlight — the Disney Parade! Beloved Disney characters from all stories marched along to cheerful music. People were already sitting along the street since 6 PM. The energy was magical, filled with smiles and laughter.

Although there was a beautiful fireworks show at 8:30 PM, we decided to leave early because we were so tired. Even though we missed the fireworks, it was still an unforgettable, joy-filled day!
