Tesla Supercharger is a DC Fast Charge (Direct Current Fast Charge) electric vehicle charging station network created by Tesla specifically for Tesla car owners worldwide. The main goal of Supercharger is to provide convenience and speed in charging, allowing Tesla car owners to travel long distances without worry.

Features and Things to Know About Tesla Supercharger

  • High Charging Speed: Supercharger can deliver high power, allowing Tesla cars to charge from low battery levels to usable levels quickly. The current V3 Supercharger can deliver up to 250 kW, which can add up to 200 miles (approximately 320 kilometers) of range in just 15 minutes (depending on the car model and battery status).

  • Extensive Network: Tesla has invested in building a widespread Supercharger network globally, along major travel routes and in major cities, to provide drivers with convenient access to charging stations.

  • Easy to Use: Using Supercharger is easy. Simply plug the charging cable into the car, and the system will automatically identify the car and start charging (for newer Tesla models with payment configured in the application).

  • In-Car Navigation: Every Tesla car has a navigation system that can locate the nearest Supercharger stations and plan routes taking charging stops into account.

  • Service Fee: Charging at Supercharger stations has a service fee, which is calculated based on the amount of electricity used (baht per kWh) or may be based on charging time in some areas. Prices may vary at each station and time.

  • Idle Fee: If a car is fully charged but remains parked in a Supercharger stall, an Idle Fee will be charged to allow other users to access the station.

  • Supercharger for Other Electric Vehicle Brands: At some stations, Tesla has begun allowing electric vehicles from other brands that support the CCS connector to use Supercharger (a Tesla application may be required to manage payment).

Therefore, Tesla Supercharger is the core of Tesla's electric vehicle ecosystem, acting as a "gas station" for electric vehicles, making the use of electric vehicles for long-distance travel convenient and feasible.

Today, we have compiled the official list of Tesla Supercharger stations in Thailand for the year 2025 for you to check and prepare for your travels.
