If your iPhone displays the message "iPhone Unavailable" and you cannot unlock it, you will need to perform a factory reset and restore your device. Follow these steps for a 100% effective solution. However, it is crucial that you remember the iCloud password associated with the locked iPhone. If you use a different account, unlocking it will be useless because you won’t be able to access the device.

How to Factory Reset a Locked iPhone

  1. Prepare a cable that connects to the iPhone and plug it into the MacBook, but do not connect it to the iPhone yet.
  2. Turn off the iPhone completely.
  3. Press and hold the power button on the iPhone while quickly plugging in the cable.
  4. Wait until the screen turns on and changes from the Apple logo to a computer icon.
  5. On the MacBook, a message will pop up asking if you want to update and restore.
  6. Select "Update and Restore" and wait for the process to complete.
  7. Once finished, a message will appear instructing you to unplug the cable.
  8. The factory reset is complete.
  9. You can now proceed with setting up your iPhone as usual.

Note: This is very important ❗❗

If "Find My iPhone" is enabled, after resetting the device, you must enter the original Apple ID and password to activate it again.

Factory resetting will erase all data. It is recommended to back up your data beforehand if possible.
