History


Arte Museum Gangneung is the third museum in the Arte Museum chain in South Korea, designed by the renowned digital artist group d’strict. The museum’s main theme is "Eternal Nature," focusing on presenting the natural beauty of Gangwon Province through interactive digital media exhibitions.




Inside the Museum


The museum has a total of 12 exhibition rooms, each reflecting the unique natural characteristics of Gangwon Province. Notable rooms include:


  • Flower Cosmos: A room filled with colorful floral images.
  • Forest: A room showcasing the four seasons, along with legendary Korean symbols like tigers and deer.
  • Waterfall Infinite: A room with reflective walls depicting a waterfall, creating an immersive physical experience.
  • Thunder: A room illustrating the power of thunderstorms.


Admission Fee


The approximate admission fee is between 15,000-20,000 won, depending on the time of year or special promotions.
