It opened around 2019-2020 with renovations to blend in with the surrounding nature, using natural materials to reduce environmental impact, and with a design that harmonizes Japanese culture and the northern Thai atmosphere.

Getting to Onsen Mon Jam

You can travel from Chiang Mai city using Route 107 (Chiang Mai-Fang) and then switch to Route 1096. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. If you don’t have a private car, you can use rental or hired car services from Chiang Mai city to Mon Jam.
